Standly privacy policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

The short version

Most of what Standly reads stays on your phone. The only things that leave it are a rounded location or a city name (for weather), purchase details handled by Google Play, and usage statistics if you agree. We do not sell your data, and Standly has no ads and no accounts.

Who is responsible

Akash Gadekar, trading as Synthetic Minds. Contact: hello@syntheticminds.in.

What stays on your phone

These are read or stored on your phone and are never sent to us:

What is sent, and to whom

Location

Standly reads your location only while the app is open, never in the background. Choosing a city by name needs no location permission at all.

Backups

Your phone's own backup feature may include Standly's settings and to-do items, depending on your phone's settings. We do not receive these backups.

Keeping and deleting data

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. Standly's data on your phone is removed when you clear its storage or uninstall it. Purchase records are kept by Google Play.

Children

Standly is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

Standly connects to the internet only over secure (https) connections.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app.

Contact

hello@syntheticminds.in. You may also have rights under your local data protection law, such as access and deletion; since we hold no personal data about you, we will tell you so if you ask.
